Sweet Themes Candle Co. all began with my daughter’s fixation on wanting to bake almost everyday, while quarantined during
the COVID-19 pandemic. It was very therapeutic during those uncertain times. The math & science teacher in me loved that she was applying those STEM skills, but the mother in me hated all the sugar she was consuming. Not to mention the messes she would make in the kitchen. Sugar, sugar was everywhere. A compromise had to be made. 
“Why not create a candle that looks just like a dessert and smells good enough to want to eat? In this way, we can combine our love for baking - mix, pour, and stir ingredients to make reactions happen.” Hence, Sweet Themes Candle Co. was born. We’ve been candling ever since, still making the messes, but this time with the happiness of gourmet scented wax.
